Please join us for the annual Picnic-in-the-Park and the GRAND OPENING of our new park.
We have finally confirmed all venues and are excited to share with all of you. We have a great day planned for all and hope that you are all as excited as we are to celebrate and have some fun.
Date – Saturday, September 8th
Time – 2pm – 8:30pm
We are looking for all to come up for the day, set up a spot in the field and enjoy a late lunch and/or dinner (grill) and hunker down for movie time.

Movie in the park (TBD) – 7 – 8:30pm (the movie will be projected up on the Baseball backstop)
Popcorn Machine – during the movie

Face painting – TBD
Rockland PD -K9 demonstration and a self-defense class for kids
Camping in the park (an adult must be present for those under 18) The Rockland police will be notified of the camping.
Local food donations from Rockland small businesses
Giving back – We are looking to give back to the Town of Rockland. A Millbrook resident has offered to create and donate a gourmet gift basket. We will raffle the basket off during the event. Proceeds will be donated to the Rockland Food Pantry. Anyone that would like to donate to this cause, please contact Jennifer Dangora – Activities Committee Director at jdangora@verizon.net or through Facebook.
There will be additional activities to be announced as we get closer to the date.
