The installation of the park equipment is expected to be completed today or at the latest Wednesday morning. We are sure all the kids are getting excited but please keep them out of the playground area until further notice. The cement foots are being poured and they need time to settle and harden. If anyone goes on the equipment or the new benches too early, it could weaken the footings. The swings will not be installed until all the drainage and wood chips are installed. We will section off the area with more caution tape.
The drainage is scheduled to be installed on Thursday and hopefully the wood chips will be spread on Friday and/or Saturday. We will be sure to keep you informed. With a little luck, we might be able to use the new equipment by Sunday.
