Hello Millbrook,
Please join us for our annual Picnic-in-the-Park.
We have a great day planned for all ages and hope that you are all as excited as we are to celebrate another day in the park and have some fun.
Date: Saturday, September 7th
Time: 2-8:30pm
We are looking for all to come up for the day, set up a spot in the field and enjoy a late lunch and/or dinner (grill) and hunker down for movie time.
Venues: Utilizing our fabulous new playground equipment
Face Painting 2-4pm
Caricature Artist – 3-5pm (first come)
DJ Chris Turcotte , Big Daddy Entertainment– 2 – 7pm – music for the whole family
Animal Craze – NE’s Best Traveling Farm http://animalcraze.info/. 4-5pm
Rockland PD – D.A.R.E, Finger printing identification and Self Defense demo. 5-5:45pm
Rockland Fire – Fire Truck and Ambulane pending calls 2-4pm
Movie in the park (TBD) – 7 – 8:30pm (the movie will be projected up on the Baseball backstop)
Popcorn
Camping in the park (an adult must be present for those under 18) The Rockland police will be notified of the camping. Please be advised that due to the EEE warning, we want to alert all campers and advise bringing bug spray and stay safe.
Giving back – We had such a great response last year to the food basket we will be doing it again this year. Please remember to bring your food up. Anyone that would like to donate to this cause, please contact Jennifer Dangora – Activities Committee Director at jdangora@verizon.net or through Facebook.
